About the company
The foundation for XPartners Samhällsbyggnad AB was created on 30 April 2021 when the Fund acquired a controlling interest in the Swedish engineering and architecture consulting company Bsv arkitekter & ingenjörer AB. The add-on acquisitions of Vänersborg-based Contecton Arkitekter Fyrstad AB and Stockholm-based Hedström & Taube Projektledning Ab and KMP Konsult AB on 23 June 2021 added complementary competences and geographies to the Group. With combined pro-forma revenues of almost a quarter billion SEK, more than 170 employees, a broad multi-disciplinary offering and presence in 12 locations across southern, western and eastern central Sweden, including Stockholm and Gothenburg, these four acquisitions constitute the first phase in Evolver’s quest to buy-and-build a nationwide group of high-performing technical consulting businesses with a focus on the sustainable built environment, and form a solid platform for further organic and acquired growth.

Investment rationale
Evolver believes strongly in investing in the sustainable built environment. The shift towards lower environmental impact by the built environment yields great opportunities for technically and digitally advanced consultants as new technologies evolve at incredible speed and project complexity increases.
The XPartners buy-and-build strategy aims at creating a leading Swedish multi-disciplinary engineering and architecture consulting company within environmental technology, infrastructure and civil engineering. This will be achieved by acquiring regionally strong technical consulting businesses with complementary competences and/or geographic footprint, and creating intragroup synergies through collaboration, cross-selling and cross-resourcing. All XPartners companies will continue to operate independently under their own brands but will benefit from each other’s customer relationships and know-how and the support of a lean group staff unit to grow individually and as a group. Using the Group’s collective domain competences, digital understanding and commitment to sustainability, XPartners shall be an active contributor in the transformation towards the sustainable built environment.
